Indian Shooter Heena Sidhu, Annu Raj loses in London Olympics

India's women shooters Heena Sidhu and Annu Raj Singh have failed to qualify for the finals of the 10m Air Pistol event at the Olympic Games on Sunday. They finished 12th and 23rd respectively whereas Chinese shooter Guo Wenjun topped with 388 qualification points at the Royal Artillery Barracks in London. Another disappointing result from the Indian contingent.
India's Heena Sidhu finished 12th with 382 points and Annu Raj Singh came in 23rd tallying 378 points in the women's 10m Air Pistol qualification on Sunday. A top eight finish would have taken them into the finals. A series of nines towards the end of the final round saw Heena end just three less than Russia's Liubov Yaskevich, who totalled 385.

  1. Like we saw over the weekend, Olympics has not been the cup of tea for our archers. Well, that has ticked you off and you want a break from the Olympics, why not play it yourself, win and also let others win on the Small Business India Intuit site. You can get all the info at: http://smallbusinessindia.intuit.in/general/gold-intuit%E2%80%99s-small-business-games/. Every time you or your friend participates, India Intuit will donate the amount to an NGO that raises money to help people start small businesses around the world. Get set go!!
