Rahi Sarnobat wins Gold in Commonwealth Games 2014

Rahi Sarnobat wins 5th gold for India in the Commonwealth Games 2014. Another gold comes India’s way as Rahi Sarnobat as she shot her way to gold medal  in Women’s 25m Pistol event. In the same event she beat her Indian counterpart Anisa Sayyed who had to settle for the silver medal. The bronze medal went to Australia’s Lalita Yauhleuskaya. With two more medals India are now placed at the 5th rank with 5 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medal. Rahi Sarnobat who had earlier won two gold medals in 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India repeated her victorious campaign in the Glasgow 2014. She won the first gold in 25m pistol event in pair with Anisa Sayyed. She became India’s first pistol shooter to win gold medal in the world cup. She won the 25m pistol event in the ISSF World cup in Changwon.
