Shikhar Dhawan fit for first Test against South Africa

Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan declared fighting fit but Ravindra Jadeja is still battling his viral infection for first Test match against South Africa beginning on the 5th of January in Cape Town. Ace India opener Shikhar Dhawan has been declared fit and will be up for selection for the 1st Test match against South Africa in Cape Town. Shikhar Dhawan, who was down with an ankle injury, was seen training full throttle at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Shikhar Dhawan had roared back into contention for this big tour with fine performances against Sri Lanka both away from home and during the home series.
But India has suffered another jolt as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is under the weather and a BCCI medical team has been monitoring him. The Medical Team in consultation with the local medical team has decided that Jadeja will be taken to a hospital for treatment, and expects him to fully recover in the next 48 hrs
